Hi World,
In 1993 I meet A man by the name of John Watson on the Conner of 8th and union and started having bible study’s, since that day we have grown together in many of way. We have become teachers of life to each other. Most of all we both have learn to see things no matter how different are ways of seeing them maybe,
And some how come to understanding about them. Don’t get me wrong we don’t always see eye to eye on everything but we do come to some kind of understanding. I know that GOD put us in each other life for A reason, I think it is this we both need some body to guide us here on earth like Jesus did everybody that came to him and just like them we don’t always listen and some make A fuss about things just like they did. We have over the years become closer then friends but we have become brothers, me being the big bro. And him being the little bro. And we do act that way most of the time. And his loving wife Jude is the big sister that I never had and the true friend. I love them both with all my heart and soul that I have in and with all the love GOD has put in this heart. I also have gotten A new family and that is every body in the family Innerchange I love each and every one of you, For the love that all of you have gave me over the years. All of you have been a blessing from GOD to me. I just had to say this am not always good at showing my feeling but I do have a way of putting it on paper I hope you all understand and now know that I LOVE YOU ALL.

THE GREATEST OF ALL.
My greatest loss, To lose my soul.
My greatest gain, Chirst as my saviour.
My greatest object, To glorify GOD.
My greatest price, A crown of glory.
My greatest work, To win souls for CHRIST.
My greatest joy, The joy of GOD's salvation.
My greatest inheritance, Heaven and it's glories.
My greatest neglect, The neglect of so great salvation.
My greatest crime, To reject CHRIST the only saviour.
My greatest privilege, Power to become A child of GOD.
My greatest bargain, To lose all things, to win CHRIST.
My greatest profit, GODLINESS in this life and that to come.
My greatest peace, The peace that passeth understanding.
My greatest knowledge, To know GOD and JESUS CHRIST
whom HE has sent.
READ YOUR BIBLE
1. Slowly, with mind alert.
2. Carefully and with prayer
3. Expectantly and with anticipation.
4. In A spirit of enjoyment.
5. Eager to respond inwardly.
6.Seeking A personal message.
HABIT, HABITS
Sow bad habits and reap A good character;
Sow jealousy and hatred and reap love and friendship;
Sow dissipation and reap A healthly body;
Sow deception and reap confidence;
Sow cowardice and reap courage;
Sow neglect of the BIBLE and reap A well- guided life.
THE CLOCK OF LIFE..
The clock of life wound but once
and no one has the power,
to tell just where the hand will stop at late or early hour.
To lose one's wealth is sad indeed,
To lose one's health is more,
To lose one's soul is such A loss as no one can restore.
The present only is our own to seek to do GOD's will,
Tomorrow holds no promise,
For THE CLOCK MAY THEN BE STILL.

LUKE 6:27-38
VARIOUS FROMS OF LOVE
1) Human love/emotion. Anybody can have this kind of love. It is the kind of love that people have for their children or other family members.
2) GODLY LOVE. Derives from the greek word agape, meaning to do good to those who hate you or despise you. To pray for those who curse you. This kind of love is impossible without the holy spirit indwelling in you. This kind of love is unbeatable. The word can conquer someone who fights back but it is confused when you repay thier evil with agape (GODLY LOVE) 1 CORINTHIANS 1:18 "for the message of the cross is foolisness to those who are perishing but to us who being saved it is the power of GOD." The message of the cross not only reflects GOD's awesome power but HIS agape (GODLY LOVE) for us, and that is something that the world views as foolishness because it can not comprehend agape love. People without the holy spirit in them only can display worldly emotional love. Agape Love without CHRIST is viewed by the world as foolishness and is to them impossible to comprehend. Now notice the second half of 1 CORINTHIANS 1:18. "But to us who are being saned it is the power of GOD." Notice "To us who are being saved." That is to those of us who (1) confess that we are sinners, lost with out GOD. (2) repent (trun away) from our sinful lives andlive in strict obedience to GOD. (3) Believe that JESUS CHRIST suffered and died on the cross for your sins.
Remember salvation is found through no one, only JESUS CHRIST.
On baptism the word of GOD say (ACT 2:38 " Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of JESUS CHRIST for forgiveness of sins. " Remember baptism is a public confession that you are a new creature in CHRIST JESUS. When you are being immersed in the water it issymbolic for you dying to youe old self and being born again as a new creature. And as a new creature you must put to death all those old UNGODLY habits, Mentioned in 1 CORINTHIANS 6:12 and EPHESIANS 4:25-32. and dispaly agape love. Be a light, let people see the HOLY SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST that dwells in you. This love is mentioned in 1 CORINTHIANS 13:1-13 and also in ROMANS 1:8-10. and it is also important to remeber that yes half the gospel is about love but the over half is about repentance. John the baptist, when he first started his ministry said, "repent for the kingdom of GOD is at hand." (MATTHEW 3:2) JESUS also, when He first started HIS ministry said, " repent, for the kingdom of GOD is at hand." MATTHEW4:17 notice that when they both started their ministries they both preached repentance, so that should give you an idea of how important repentance is.
So take youe eyes off the world and what it has to offer. Because this world will soon pass away. Focus youe eyes on GOD. You know the truth, now it time to apply it. Remeber how good it felt to be close to GOD? Well that was just the tip of the iceberg. Imagine having a close personal relationship with GOD. It is someting that cannot be described with words.

God is good each and everyday there is no doubt in my mind that as long as I keep doing what God ask of me my life will always get better maybe not when I won’t it to but it will in God time so I really have learn to wait on God and not rush anything that I do and to only do what God ask of me and not what other ask me to do. This some thought's that I had A few days ago now am shareing them with everybody that feel that GOD is is not there for them when HE is alway's there all the time, He never leaves us we leaves Him and His great love never ending love for us.

Crisis on the Street Summit
May 4, 2000
Sponsored by:
Union Rescue Mission, USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture
Los Angeles Coalition to End Hunger and Homelessness
California Council of Churches
The first speaker was Donald Coleman from USC. He stated that there is about 80.000 homeless each night that are sleeping on streets of Los Angeles. The amount of women and children grown and this is the biggest problem that needs to address and dealt with.
Many of the women and children that are downtown are not homeless because drugs or alcohol, But because they can't afford to live any where because of the lack of money and housing they can afford to pay. This is a very big problem that really needs to be looking at long and hard.
A lot of churches do go downtown and feed the homeless man, women and children. But most need more then those things like hygiene or good health care, and many other things so that can gain and keep some degree of self respect. The churches and other organization can do much more.
Key note speaker "Antonio Villaragosa" City councilman for the 14th district
The failure in government, the people and our hearts and morals of our own self's. The government has more or less turn their heads the other way to some degree or put it on the back burner. The government of Los Angeles needs to really look at the core root of homelessness which is not solved by putting people in jails or prisons, or by looking and talk about
what need to be done, but take their foot out of their mouth and put them on the ground. Do everything that is needed, not only from the government and the community around them but also all churches and faith base groups. Because just talking about it won't get anything done.
WE have to show the people how to have faith and hope and a positive way for them to better their life, by making programs that will help them see realize that their life can be better. First we have to show them friendships and encouragement and put the power of self will into their heart, Just as GOD has show us a real life with HIM, We must show them how to have that real and better life with GOD and them self.
Union Rescue Mission, the things that are doing are only a small drops in the bucket of the real problem. More is needed from them but they can't do it alone they need more help from every one that truly cares and has the love of GOD in their hearts.
Cause Of Homelessness:
In a report released in September 2003, the Census Bureau reported that the number of people in poverty in the United States rose by 1.7 million. There were 3 million more poor people last year than in 2000. California's poverty rate rose to 12.1%. The gap between the rich and the poor is widening.
Poverty not able to make ends meet:
Median income $7.985 a year.
Median income in county $42.189 a year.
Most homeless make way under $10.000 a year
In a report released in September 2003, the Census Bureau reported that the number of people in poverty in the United State rose by 1.7 million. There were 3 million more poor people last year than in 2000. California's poverty rate climbed to 12.8%, while the national poverty rate rose to 12.1%. The gap between the rich and the poor is widening.
Percentage with income below poverty level:
Hispanic children 57% Adult Males 66%
Asian children 23% Adult Females 69%
Black children 20%
Breakdown of social family network:
Lack family support and love.
Drugs and alcohol abuse.
Victims of abusive relationship.
Spousal abuse
Mental health problems.
Lack of money to pay rent and bills.
These are just some of the thing that can and will cause homelessness here in Los Angeles and across the United States. Central downtown the core of a revolving door to the homeless, it is a magnet and a false hope that need to be change.
Competing Interests:
· Public interests only wants to move people away from them "as if to say out of sight out mind. This way they don't have to deal with it, that not the answer
· Business and economic interest: Numerous business and economic interests in the area surrounding Skid Row since it is in the midst of the fashion district, the toy district, and the downtown central financial district. Understandably, these interests seek to improve their own business. Literature on urban politics in the United State regards Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), the Developers and other business associations as the critical actors for any successful project of governance such as the efforts to treat the problem of homelessness in downtown L.A. The Central City Association (CCA) claims to strongly support plans and programs designed to assist all individuals in Los Angeles who find themselves without permanent shelter. Further, CCA claims that the business community has a long record of financial support, including millions of dollars in aid, for organizations that assist the needy. Despite this claim, the CCA also state: Not withstanding our support and compassion for those who are in need, we believe it is necessary for society to 'take back the streets' from those who cannot help themselves or refuse help and contribute to the deterioration of our community and their own health.
· The Broader Community: The broader Community of Los Angeles has a stake in how the homeless are cared for. Many of the stakeholders that we interviewed were concerned about the location of any shelter for women and children. They expressed reluctance about providing shelter for them in neighborhoods within the vicinity of the downtown core. In the broader context, other neighborhoods in Los Angeles do not desire this population in their communities. This attitude is often referred to as NIMBY (Not in my back yard). NIMBY describes organized resident, business, government, and/or community-based organizational opposition or resistance to controversial facilities or land uses. Most often, the concerns raised by individuals and groups center on these common themes: diminishing property values, increased traffic or congestion, rising crime rate and impacts on health and well-being.
There are some cities in Los Angeles County that have responded to their community's NIMBYism by allocating funds for provision of existing location. For example, the cities of Beverly Hills and West Hollywood have donated funds to PATH in Los Angeles for their service provision to the homeless. Indeed, they are considered key financial contributors for PATH's new regional homeless center.
Service Providers: Was set up at first to only help homeless men, But more is needed to help the MOM'S and there children to get off the street's not by talking about it but doing something. Service providers operate on the basis of varying perspectives based on their experiences and on philosophical and ideological underpinnings. They often have very strong positions regarding their approaches to service delivery. Thus, they sometime find themselves in conflict with one another. Service providers often find it difficult to collaborate based on the fact that they find themselves in competition for the same funding streams or funding sources.

· My thoughts on the Crisis On The Streets Summit,
By Willie S. Hartsfield
· There are many other that are out in the city of Los Angeles that some people in the street don't know and it didn't seem to me that these people here really knew or just are not speaking on them for some reason or the other. Some of the things I heard really sounded good for the people sitting there. Because they really don't have any idea about what going and am not sure that they really care I Believe that some if not most of them really do have a heart and want to change or be apart of the change, and are looking for some one to guide them in the right direction. I feel that what they really need to do is bring some of the homeless to meetings such as this and hear it from the people who are living in the streets of Los Angeles downtown skid row. Then really get a understanding of what these Men, Women and children who are living this life or have live this life or go to the streets and talk to the people and really see and feel what's really needed by these people. Show them that they really care and are going to help them and come from the your
heart about it.

PERHAPS TODAY!!!
Is my house set in order, If CHRIST should come today?
What tasks would be unfinished if I were called away?
Suppose an ANGEL told me at early morning light,
" Your LORD will come this evening, You will go home tonight".
Would ecstasy be clouded by thought of things undone,
The seed I might have scattered, The crowns I might have won?
The soul I meant to speak to, The purse I meant to share,
And, O, the wasted moments I meant to spend in prayer!
The weight of unsaved millions would press upon my heart.
In thier death am I certain that I had not a part?
And just a few short moments in which to set things right!
How feverishly I'd labor until the waning light!
O' slothful soul, and careless heart, O, eyes which have no sight-
Work, lest you reap but vain regerts- Your LORD may come
TONIGHT!!!

THE POWER OF TWO...
In G.K. Chesterton's novel "The Man Who Was Thursday", an undercover policeman infiltrates a lawless group that is dedicated to throwing the world into chaos. He is gripped with fear until HE discovers an ally within the group.
Chesterton write of the policeman's feeling at finding a friend; "Throug all this ordeal His root horror had been Isolation, and there are no words to express the abyss between isolatio and having one ally. it may be conceded to the mathematicians that four is twice two. But two is not twice one; two is two thousand times one."
When David was being pursued by the jealous and irrational King Saul,He had friend who risked great danger to stand with him. Jonathan, Saul's own son, pledged his loyalty to David and warned him of his father's intention to kill him (1 Samuel 20:31-42. Later, when Saul pursued David into the wilderness, Jonathan "arose and went to David in the woods and strenghtened his hand in GOD" (23:16).
What a wonderful gift we give by standing faithfully with a friend in need! There is incredible encouragement and power when two people are allied in life. Whose hand can you strenghten by being a friend today?
LORD, help me be the kind of friend
That makes my friend secure;
So he can find new strenght and hope.
His trials to endure.
Atrue friend helps you keep going when you feel like giving up....

TIME ALONE....
Time alone is never alone in this place,
Sometime being alone seem to go on forever,
Sometime being alone can be a good thing,
Sometime being alone is a bad thing,
Sometime being alone you can clear your mind
of the things that bothering your mind or heart
and find peace that comes from with in yourself
that some time is so hard to get when you are with
other that have no peace of mind,
Sometime you are in a place where you can never be alone ,
A place that has no place to go and be all alone because
there is no where to run so you have to go within yourself
and block everybody out the best way you can, I have found
the only way for me to be alone with myself and the only man I
know that understand me better then I understand myself
and that is the LORD, SO every time I or even you think you are
all alone, you never are because the LORD will never let you be alone
at no time because HE knows that time alone is only a time when you are
not with HIM ,then think about this who are you with because there is never
